COMPLETELY Hypothetical

Who still pays for downloading music?! New music hits the Internet within milliseconds, and file sharing websites within seconds! Is it really "stealing" if we're all technically "sharing"? Honestly, I feel like these artists make enough money so when I sit here and think about all the money that these artists make outside of music; I don't really feel as bad. I mean just because I don't mean anyone else isn't; I'm not swaying masses over here either so the $4 that I didn't spend on the 4 songs I liked of 12 on an entire album won't hurt these guys that much. Some might argue that this may be a deep ethical issue because these guys are artists and should be compensated for their work and blah, blah, blah but ummm yeah I don't really care too much and will exhibit blank stares & daydream if someone tries to argue their point.

**This is strictly for entertainment purposes only. In no way is it an admission of music piracy; these musicians are artists and should be (input all the stuff I'm supposed to say to convince you that I don't download music for free because it's completely immoral)...
Jail time is up to 5 years with fines of 250,000.. Adios mios

  1. I argued with you, but there's a class I'm taking that really breaks down how much these artist make and when you look at it when people download and share, its stealing from them. Just saying. :)
